Yesterday I attended some really great seminars.
Nokia and R/GA told us that mobile handsets is the future of online and marketing as it allows us to add targeted location into the mix. I didn't realise this but Nokia is the worlds largest manufacturer of digital cameras as well as digital music players.
Then Jeffrey Cole from the Center for the Digital Future as part of Microsoft's presentation, took us through trends coming up in the next 2/3 years.
He predicts that the film, music and print industries will survive, but will radically reduce in size. TV though he reckons will increase and move to mobile devices where people will access it during 'down time', when they don't have anything else to do.. to kill time.
