I've just noticed that it's been 'tuesday' on most of my headings in my posts this week. Apologies for that, but the date is right or at least I think it is.
Tomorrow is my last day here. I don't really mind missing the film winners too much, but a little bit sad that I'll miss the Titanium & Integrated campaign winners as this is the category of the future.
Agencies that win here will do very well in the next year or so.
If u are interested in the cyber winners u can check out the Cannes site. Some awesome inspirational stuff http://www.canneslionslive.com/cyber/win_1_1.htm. Interesting enough, the Cyber Lions this year had 3 Grand Prix's where all the other categories, only had 1.
This just shows the scale and diversification of the interactive way of thinking. Pretty soon, we won't be able to distinguish between the media types as TV, Radio, Press, Outdoor, etc. all become interactive.
One thing struck me while looking at loads of ads and awards shows... there aren't any commercial breaks. I thought ad agencies loved commercials?!
Now riddle me this, why do we inflict commercial breaks on people when we don't want it ourselves.
